The Clarke County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing in the Berryville-Clarke County Government Center main meeting room, 101 Chalmers Ct., Berryville, Va., on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at 10 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard to consider action on the following item:
BZA-24-01: Timothy Olinger (owner/applicant) is requesting a variance to Section 4.1.2B of the Clarke County Zoning Ordinance regarding the minimum setback required between a proposed building and a private access easement. Specifically, the application requests a 2 foot setback (23 foot variance) from the existing private access easement to allow him to construct a 30’ x 30’ accessory building (shop). The subject property is approximately 2.168 acres; located at 2027 Frogtown Road; identified by Tax Map #32-A-50; within the Forestal-Open Space-Conservation (FOC) Zoning District; and within the Millwood Election District.
