Patrol Requests & Forms

The Sheriff’s Office offers Property Checks and Extra Patrol Requests. A Property Check asks a Sheriff’s Deputy to check on a home or business while the owner is away or the business is closed. An Extra Patrol Request alerts the Sheriff’s Office to potential issues involving traffic or areas of the county where a resident believes more attention is necessary. Note: Requesting property checks is not an alternative to proactively securing your property to reduce the risk of criminal activity, but this program does offers an additional measure of security.

The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office maintains emergency contact information for owners of livestock (cattle, horses, sheep, etc.) so deputies can quickly notify an owner in the event a large animal is reported running loose or injured. Download, complete, and return the Livestock Owner Contact Form to Sheriff’s Office, 100 N. Church St., Berryville VA 22611, fax it to (540) 955-4111, or submit it via email to ccso@clarkecounty.gov.
