The Clarke County Transportation Plan is an implementing component of the 2022 Clarke County Comprehensive Plan.  The Plan's purpose is to identify and prioritize short and long-term transportation network needs as they relate to the management of growth by the County and its incorporated towns.  The Plan is designed to comply with the Chapter 729 regulations of Code of Virginia §15.2-2223 and contains an inventory of the County’s existing transportation network, planning assumptions that influence the transportation network, an existing and future needs assessment, and recommendations to address those needs.
