There are six baseball-softball fields in Chet Hobert Park. The park has 18 soccer fields, including U6, U8, U10, U12, U16, and U19 fields. All fields are available for play unless posted as “Closed.” Field closings are at the discretion of CCPR because of inclement weather, safety considerations, or unforeseen emergencies.

Reservations are required to use the baseball-softball fields and soccer fields during the months of April through October from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance.

Rental Fees

Baseball-Softball Fields: $25 per hour; $20 per hour for Clarke residents; 50 percent discount for Clarke County non-profit organizations. Additional fees for all users are $20 to drag; $10 for lines; $10 per hour for lights. Additional lining and/or dragging throughout the day are an additional charge.

Soccer Fields: $25 per hour; $20 per hour for Clarke residents; 50 percent discount for Clarke County non-profit organizations. Additional fees for all users are $60, $40, or $20 for lines depending on size of field. Additional lining and/or dragging throughout the day are an additional charge.

Commercial Rental Fees for baseball and soccer fields is $40 per hour for Clarke County residents and $50 per hour for non-Clarke residents.

Field Preparation Fee includes one lining and one dragging per day. Additional lining and dragging throughout the day are an additional charge.

Certificate of Insurance is required for organizations sponsoring tournaments or league play. Insurance shall be Comprehensive General Liability, $1,000,000 per occurrence, naming Clarke County as additionally insured.

Possession/consumption of alcoholic beverages on park property is prohibited. All animals must be kept on leashes at all times.
