Volunteers are needed to collect litter along a 2-mile stretch from Salem Church Road to Pyletown Road and Opequon Road to the Frederick County line. Meet at 9 a.m. Oct. 21 at Salem Baptist Church (1362 Salem Church Rd.) where Clarke County Litter Committee members will distribute trash bags and safety vests. The committee recommends young volunteers be at least 15-years old, but parents must decide if their children should work along roadways.
