Trick-or-Treat hours are set so homeowners know when to expect children in costumes, and motorists know when to be extra careful driving around towns. Halloween Trick-or-Treat hours on Tuesday, Oct. 31, are:

• 5:30 until 8 p.m. within BOYCE town limits.
• 6 until 8:30 p.m. within BERRYVILLE town limits.
• No set hours outside of town limits.

Residents who wish to give treats should turn on porch lights during designated hours, and trick-or-treaters should only visit homes that have porch lights on. Parents and guardians must make decisions appropriate for their children regarding going door to door, and residents must decide if they want to distribute candy.
