The Clarke County Litter Committee sponsors an e-recycling event from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at C2 Management located at 230 First St. in Berryville. Electronics are accepted FREE of charge. Exceptions are CRT (cathode ray tube) TVs 31-inch and smaller $10; CRT TVs 32-inch and larger $20; LCD (liquid crystal display) TVs all sizes $8. There is also charge for large quantities of batteries. C2 Management will NOT accept hazardous materials. C2 Management is also open to the public 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Thursday to accept electronic items.
