Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at John Rixey Moore Tennis Courts in Chet Hobert Park (225 Al Smith Circle, Berryville) is a grand re-opening of the newly renovated facility. Following the ceremony, Coach Jackie offers a free tennis clinic for children ages 5 to 13 with open play for ages 14 and up. Bring racquets. RSVP by Monday, July 10. Clarke County Parks and Recreation recently received a $10,000 Facility Restoration Grant from the United States Tennis Association Mid-Atlantic Section and an $18,000 Tennis Venue Services grant from the United States Tennis Association to repair and renovate the tennis courts in Chet Hobert Park.
