Sixth annual Geneva Jackson Pie-Baking Contest at the Clarke County Farmers’ Market (317 W. Main St., Berryville) invites bakers of all ages to present their best fruit pies in disposable pans. (No custard pies, please.) Contest has two age categories: 12-years-old and younger and 13 and older. Entries must include baker’s name, phone number, and list of ingredients. Entry fee is $10. Judging begins at 10:30 a.m. Some pies will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit The Laurel Center: Intervention for Domestic and Sexual Violence.
