In History’s Footsteps at Shenandoah University River Campus at Cool Spring Battlefield (1400 Parker Lane, Bluemont) is led by Jonathan Noyalas, director of the McCormick Civil War Institute, and is hosted by Clarke County Parks and Recreation. Participants age 6 to 15 will learn about the life of an ordinary Civil War soldier and the Battle of Cool Spring. Cost is $30.
